Al Hayma – Yemen

1.000 EGP

Situated at 2200 meters above sea level in the Mikhlaf Al-Rub’ area of Al Hayma this coffee is blessed with high altitudes and fertile soils. Both towns of Wadi Bait-Hujairah and Al Mahjar are located in Al Hayma and are known for their high-quality coffee production. For this lot, producers hailing from these two towns who do not produce enough coffee to create a single producer lot have been combined into a collective, before being processed using an Anaerobic processing method to create a complex, fruit forward and balanced cup.

We secured this coffee in competitive bidding over a 4 hour period at Sheba’s yearly Yemeni Coffee Auction and it took us nearly 4 months to import this limited 50 kg lot. This coffee has been stored in our environment-controlled storage and we’ve been roasting, cupping and brewing it for quality at our lab over the past few weeks. It made its debut during our exhibition World of Coffee Busan South Korea last month and we are excited to bring you this limited offering.

Order it before Thursday and we’ll do our best to get it to you before Eid. Alternatively pick one up or have us brew it for you Specialty Bun .
