Bait Hujairah – Yemen

A new chapter is being written for this pedigree-laden industry, and we look forward to continuing to share its pages through the coffees we source directly from our neighbour across the pond, Yemen.

We are proud to be working with leaders in the Yemeni specialty coffee community, whether individuals or organizations, who are keen on seeing the benefits of international trade spread across their value chain. One such leader is Sheba coffee, with whom we look forward to building our Yemeni coffee repertoire to be roasted and shipped out our beloved Cairo, Egypt.

This micro lot comes to us from the blessed hands of Mutahir Abdu Ahmed El Salamy from Al Hayma Al Dakhiliya. At 2300 metres above sea level, this lot was naturally processed on raised drying beds. In the cup, find notes of berries, vanilla, and a milk chocolate finish. You can drink this cup knowing you are participating in the renaissance of ancient trade routes, as Yemeni Coffee finds its way to Cairo, and from Cairo, to the world.
