Colombia – Las Cascadas

Founded in 2008 in the south of Huila, this group of smallholder farmers has been implementing practices consistent with specialty farming for years before deciding to consolidate as Las Cascadas de Bordones to better sell their coffee in the international market.

We directly sourced this coffee with the help of our Colombian partner Cafe Granja La Esperanza.

Las Cascadas is hand picked, sorted and floated for quality; after that coffee under goes a 15 hour fermentation, where it is washed and then finally dried in the sun.

This coffee is representative of a classic washed Colombian profile coffee; it is incredibly sweet, with a delicate floral aroma and juicy stone fruit notes that make it an absolute joy to brew every morning
